De talento inquestionável, uma das lendas atuais do jazz, é considerado um dos criadores do estilo vocalese, forma no qual o "canto" funciona como um instrumento musical, quando as letras e sons produzidos pela voz realizam fraseados e improvisações. Por isso, é também considerado um dos melhores praticantes de scat singing, essas vocalizações solo do jazz. Neste ótimo disco de bebop, Hendricks vem acompanhado por uma banda de grandes astros do jazz norte americano como Wynton Marsalis, Al Grey, Red Holloway, Benny Golson, Mark Elf e Andy Watson, o esloveno Renato Chicco, pianista e diretor musical de Jon Hendricks na época, e o baixista inglês Ugonna Okegwo. Diversos cantores contribuem para a ótima dinâmica de vozes no disco, entre eles Judith Hendricks, Michele Hendricks, Aria Hendricks, Kevin Bruke e uma vocalização de Wynton Marsalis. 

[English] Jon Hendricks is a jazz singer and songwriter born in 1921 in Newark, Ohio, United States. With an unquestionable talent, today one of the legends of jazz, is considered one of the originators of vocalese style, way in which the "corner" serves as a musical instrument, when letters and sounds produced by the voice and phrasing perform improvisaões. Hence it is also considered one of the best scat singing, these vocalizations solo jazz. In this great bebop record, Hendricks is accompanied by a North American astors jazz band as Wynton Marsalis, Al Grey, Red Holloway, Benny Golson, Mark Elf and Andy Watson, the Slovenian pianist and musical director Jon Hendricks at the time Renato Chicco, and the English bassist Ugonna Okegwo. Several singers contribute to the optimal dynamic voices on the disc, including Judith Hendricks, Michele Hendricks, Aria Hendricks, Kevin Brüke vocalization and Wynton Marsalis.
