D-Train - 1982 - You're The One For Me

O disco "You're The One For Me" foi o primeiro de Dtrain e obteve grande aceitação, atingindo as paradas de sucesso do início dos anos 80 principalmente com as músicas "Keep On" e "You're the One for Me".

Today Dtrain has released several albums but the first remains a strong brand for your career. This review blog on classic funk music of the period between the late 1970s and early 1980s, high fertility phase, also marked an important shift in the genre, the incorporation of electronic sound. Emerged in the late 1960s, funk came to the end of the 1970s respecting their instrumental patterns using metal, bass, guitar, drums, piano, organ and mainly congas. Electronic, or known as synthesizer keyboard, was already used as one of the instrument since its inception funk, but in the early 80s with the technological evolution of musical instruments, synthesizers appeared with other possibilities and thus more functions within the musical group. Several bands of soul / funk / R & B emerged at that time adopted this technology quickly, the album "You're the One for Me" by Dtrain illustrates this new sound, where synthesizers have assumed various roles in the band, occupying the roles of metals, low among other effects in the orchestration.
