[Português] Lunatic Taxi é o sétimo disco da banda de jazz fusion francesa Sixun. Com treze disco lançados desde 1984, ao longo dos anos a banda sempre manteve como o núcleo inalterado a formação com Jean-Pierre Como nos teclados, Alain Debiossat no saxofone, Louis Winsberg na guitarra, Michel Alibo no baixo e Paco Sery na bateria e percussão. Com expressivas vendagens de discos para o gênero, o Sixun é sem dúvida uma das bandas de fusion mais bem sucedidas da Europa. A banda é frequentemente comparado com Pat Metheny e Weather Report, este último, a maior influência de Sixun. O trabalho polirrítmico da banda e as importantes influências musicais multiculturais dos músicos, com peso principalmente para os elementos africano e caribenho, tornaram o Sixun um grupo de grande personalidade musical. Este album foi lançado nos Estados Unidos e contou com diversas participações, com destaque para Michael Brecker no sax e Andy Narell na steel drums. A banda se separou em 1998, após o nono álbum (Nouvelle Vague), mas desde 2005 retornou as atividades.

[English] The Lunatic Taxi is the seventh album of French jazz fusion band Sixun.
