[Português] Red Sun é o segundo álbum da banda Katuner. Composto por musicos armenos, o grupo faz um folk/etno jazz ou avant-garde folk (como algumas pessoas preferem) em uma mistura criativa entre o ambiente e as melodias folclóricas de seu país e o flexível jazz contemporâneo. Um bom exemplo disso é a música "Ocean" que, mesmo não sendo um país litorâneo, a melodia inicial invoca o ambiente místico do país, seguidas pelo elemento jazzistico das improvisão de trombone e teclado, e sustentada por uma base rítmica afro-cubana.


[English] Red Sun, the second album of Katuner band. Composed by armenian musicians, the group makes a folk / ethno jazz or avant-garde folk (as some people prefer) in a creative mix between the environment and the folk melodies of his country and flexible contemporary jazz. A good example of the mixture is the song "Ocean", although not be a coastal country, the initial melody invokes the mystical ambiance, followed by the elements of jazz improvisation for trombone and keyboard, and supported by one afro-Cuban rhythmic base.
